Planning and Programs Development

Planning is the process of having a plan for completing an objective. It includes defining the problem, establishing aims and placing action ideas to achieve these goals.

A well-planned method provides a very clear picture showing how to procedure the challenge available and what measures are necessary to resolve it. Additionally, it helps to reduce the uncertainties that often happen as a result of unexpected events or perhaps changes in the environment.

Generally, there are seven essential steps in the look cycle: getting stakeholders, conducting a situational analysis/needs assessment, producing goals and objectives, developing an action plan, funding and cost management, collecting data to determine effects, and analyzing progress towards achievement of program desired goals.

Goals and objectives are the most important part of your program, they usually should be identified in an appropriate manner to ensure that they shall be achieved. These kinds of should be realistic, mutually agreed to and measurable.

The next phase is to identify the group for a program. This will help to concentrate the program about that audience’s needs and make that more likely just for the group to participate.

Finally, the program system should put together a series of immediate, intermediate, and long-term benefits (Israel, 2001). These needs to be aligned with the goals and objectives of the plan.

Affecting people, just like volunteers, Advisory Local authorities, donors and other stakeholders in the program organizing process is crucial to powerful Extension education. This involves every members and builds determination to the courses.
